MODIFIED WILD DAGGER

SHOCK TOWER FOR LONG SHOCKS
The yellow holes are drilled to mount the tower to the truck
in the same holes the old shocks were mounted in and the
green holes are for the shocks. Shocks will mount aproxx
7/10ths of an inch higher and new shock holes should be
over a half inch wider than before or the shocks will hit
the tower between the yellow and green holes.

RAISED STEERING LINKS
After adding the long shocks the truck sits higher so I had to
raise the connection where the steering linkage connects to the
steering blocks/axle carriers with a long 3mm bolt coming up
from the bottom through the carrier and then a couple of
spacers, then the steering linkage and then a lock nut.
I have had no problems with this set up.

MRC Tires and Rims on Dagger

Stock Rear Traxass Stampede Rim
Back
Trim the back almost up
to the hex drive
Front
Trim the front back to
the second ridge and
make sure it is flat.
Front
Sand the outside edge of the ridge on the front of the
stampede rim so that it just fits inside the little knobs on
the inside of the front of the MRC rim. This will make
sure it is dead center. Drill 2 or 4 holes and bolt stampede
rim to MRC rim. I used aluminum nuts and bolts and a
plastic tube like spacer around the bolts and in between
the rims. Run a long bolt through the stampede rim and
stick the end of the bolt into drill motor to spin rim when
you are sanding and grinding That will keep the cuts and
sanding almost perfectly round and flat. Make sure you
drill hole in MRC rim large enough for lug wrench before
you bolt rims together.

Monster Truck Size Tires With the Traction
of a Small Pin Stadium Truck Tire
You can dye these rims any color you want. They are a
little taller and a little wider than stock dagger
tires and you won't beleave the traction.

I made these for better traction and run them on my
dagger and my modified 4X4 Stampedes. I also run
a set of large Kyosho tires on these rims -
see pick of Dagger 2000
