Always Under Development
I'm the Michigan connection of the Rog (California) and Bob show, living in the Flint, Mi. area. I run twelve different trucks, three Mini-z's, and a Mini Cooper. If I knew of any tracks in the area I could be found there, but,unfortunately, we do not have any that I know of. As we are off-roaders, I just search out construction sites and run my trucks where ever I can.
I'm open for suggestions of places to "play" in this area. And, I would be glad to hear from, and get to know others with these same truck interests. It would be especially nice if there was enough of us to hook up and even start a club. I have one goodfriend with this hobby, and we sure do enjoy running our trucks as often as we can get out in this Michigan weather. It is my hope to someday have the opportunity to work with some one or some folks to develop and maintain a challenging truck track.
Either Rog or I would be glad to discuss our trucks, our modifications, and our experiences - we play hard, going for speed, length and height of jumps, and rough terrain. Rog is especially good at the mechanics, for instance, he designed and built a 4x4 Stampede.While he spends his time coming up with mechanical innovations, I spend my time designing and painting bodies. Some of them are for sale, and I am open to designing and painting bodies on request. I would not claim to be the best designer and air brush painter around, but we do get some nice compliments on our truck bodies. Be sure to see the pics of the bodies I have designed.
